Experience

Ocho Rios is in the parish of St. Ann and lies on the north coast of Jamaica. Ocho Rios which is Spanish for “Eight Rivers”, is the "garden parish" because of its great beauty with lush, vibrantly hued foliage. Ocho Rios is a port of call for many cruise lines and has some of the most luxurious resorts on the island. Come on down and swim with the playfully rogue dolphins at Dolphin Cove! Ocho Rios is great for water lovers! Do some snorkelling on the Catamaran Cruise on your visit to the famously refreshing Dunn’s River Falls. Not a water person? Don’t worry! The parish is full of parks and nature reserves to escape to.  Turtle River Park is in the centre of the town in an enclosed area where children can play, Green Grotto Caves is where history and nature meet – divine, while Coyaba Gardens offers horse rides and pond fishing.

There are plenty of historical sites and cultural experiences to be had in Ochi: ReggaeXplosion, Walkers Wood and Firefly. Ocho Rios has developed from a small fishing village to a thriving tourist destination into new beach lands, hundreds of acres dredged with hotels, apartment blocks, shopping centre’s and a marina.
